Creating Folder in Outlook

Hi,

Everytime I try to create a new folder to store my
emails, I right click on Inbox and create a new folder.
Then the outlook keeps processing and never stops. Then I
go to task manager and end the task (Outlook Not
responding". Then when I open outlook again, I can see
the new folder already created. I donot understand why
outlook keeps processing when in fact it is creating the
new folder.

Could any body help me in this regard??
