Creating new table uisng excel

I am trying to create a new table using excel and I am getting DB corruption
message. My DB is new and it has nothing in it. I also checked the excel
spread sheet and everything is fine with no blank spaces and no bold letters.
I am not sure why is it getting corrupted. Can anyone please advise me on
this.

I am trying to create a new table using excel
In what manner are you performing this process? Are you linking the Excel
and then running a make table query?
