Creating Web Folder

I am trying to create a hyperlink to a folder in my web that contains many other folders and files for use on our Intranet. I have tried to creat this hyperlink directly to a folder and have just converted it to a web folder. I am pointing the hyperlink to the folder. What am I doing wrong?

You need to have a default page, by default these are in
IIS, index, default, asp and htm

You host needs to turn on directory browsing
- by default most hosts turn it off
