Custom Cards-and Mail (Catalog?) Merge

I am trying to set up a template for a custom name card-3.125" x 2.125" .
Each of these cards will have different names on it (Mr. Bill Smith, Ms. Mary
Jones, etc..) and all the cards will have the same detail on them-(ie:
Company Name and Venue) . I was able to set up the card template but I am
having trouble merging the 650 names that are now in Excel format. It seems
that I end up with a sheet of 6 cards all with the same name, so that I would
have to print 650 sheets--each sheet having the same name on it. Where am I
going wrong? What I want is 6 individual names per sheet and each sheet
having the border lines on it so that each sheet can be cut into 6
cards-3.125 x 2.125 afterwards. Please advise. Thanks

When you do a merge of this sort, only one card can be on your screen. Are you
actually printing the cards or are you doing a print preview. If you are doing
the latter print preview shows all the cards being the same, it is a bug in the
program.
