Custom Fields - Help Please!

Hi,

I have created 6 custom fields to use/edit in the inbox
view to better organize my information. I have to fill
the information for each of the fields in order to get my
information properly organized.

So far, I am doing this record by record (i.e. e-mail by
e-mail). Can someone tell me how can I select some e-
mails and assign the same value to any of my custom
fields?
