Custom Power Point Charts

I cannot figure out how to make a "custom" Power Point chart. I need to make
an area chart (3) with at least 4 lines. Is there a way to accomplish this?
And if yes, how?

I already tried that, but it appears to only let you set your personal
defaults for existing chart types. I don't see how it lets you actually add
a "new" chart type, which is what I need to do. Thanks for trying to help.

I finally figured it out. Create the graph using "area" as the Chart Type.
After you enter or import all the data, right click on the series you wish to
be displayed as a line, then click on Chart Type, choose "line" and it
converts that series to a line graph. Fairly simple once you figure it out.
