Custom Shows-slides that have no title

How do I add a title to slides that do not have a title? For some unknown
reason some slides are not defaulting with names.

The slide takes its name from the text in the title placeholder. - No title =
no name.

Try adding a title and dragging it off the slide where it wont be seen
during the presentation

Go to the Format menu and choose Slide Layout. Pick a layout that includes
a title and type one in the title area. If you don't want the title to
appear on the slide itself, just drag it off the viewable portion of the
slide (into the gray area).

Go to Format|Slide Layout and change the layout to one that has a title
placeholder.
