Custom Standard Error Bar value

I need to assign a custom error bar value using Microsoft PP graph. How do I
do it?

Echo,
I know how to do it in Excel, but I don't know how to bring it into PPT.
Can you help? My boss wants to be able to double click the graph in PPT to
see the data that it represents.

I'd copy the chart in Excel and Edit/Paste Special and choose "Excel Chart
Object" in PPT. This will create an embedded Excel chart. Your boss can
double-click it in PPT and see the datasheet. If you do this, the chart is
entirely contained in the PPT file -- it's not linked to the Excel file or
anything. So any changes to the data would need to be made from embedded
chart in the PPT file.

Does that make sense?

Also, you can fudge this using the stock chart in PPT (someone mentioned
that in a fairly recent post, I think), but I find it actually more
straightforward just to do it in Excel and import into PPT.

YES it made sense. I can’t wait to surprise him at tomorrows meeting. Thank
you sooooo much!
