Custom Tables

I am trying to set up a table template. I wanted to know if anyone has been
able to create a new "table format" that would appear in the list available
when inserting a new table.

What version Publisher are you using? You cannot add a table to the *Create
Table* content. You can create a table to your specifications and add it to the
Content Library (right-click, add...) if you are using 2007. It will be
available for all your documents. Otherwise in other versions you can create a
table and save it as a Publisher template.

I am using Office 2003. I will try to save it as a new Pulisher template.
Otherwise, I think I may have to resort to preserving the basics in the
Format Table with the "add settings to new objects" checked and making the
other standard changes to each new tables. Thanks for the help. Let me know
if you think of anything else.
