Custom Tool Bars in Project Professional 2003

Terry

I've modified an existing tool bar (Web) in Project so that I have all my
daily tools at hand. The one problem that I haven't been able to solve is to
have my tool bar open in a specific location in the UI when I open it. So
far, each time that I start up, I need to go to Views | Toolbars | select the
tool bar and then drag it to where I want it (vertical, on the left side of
the UI).
Is there a way to make the tool bar stick?
Thanks,
Terry

Hi Terry,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

In Project 2003 Standard, you can just drag the toolbar handle (the dotted
line to the left of the toolbar) and position it to the left vertical edge
of the screen. It remains there through save and open. If you are using
Project Server with Project Pro 2003, it might be different. In which case,
try posting on the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project
Newsgroups. FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information
can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm
