Custome Highlight Color

Is there a way to create a custom hightlight color to use with the Highlight
Tool in Word 2003?

Unfortunately, no. You can customize the color of shading (applied to
"Text"), and you could, if desired, define a character style using this
custom color of shading, but you would be unable to search for it the way
you can for highlighting.
