customize view

I want to create a customized view to show: project name, resouce name,
date, actual hrs worked within the date specified. Can someone tell me how?

How are you seeing data from more than one project? Do you have a resource
pool or use Project Server?

Try the Resource Usage View, insert the Project column then Group (under
Project menu) by Project column. You will need to adjust the timescale to
suit and you may have to add up the final total manually.

If this doesn't work for you then you will need a VBA macro to do this. VBA
resources can be found at http://project.mvps.org/vbacode.htm
