Cut and paste changes colors - PowerPoint 2002 / Visio 2000 issue

When cutting and pasting a colorful drawing from Visio to PowerPoint,
many of the colors are changing. How does one prevent this from
happening?

There are various blocks of various colors - too many to list. But the
colors they are changing to are consistent. Is there a bug of this
type between Visio & PPT? Are there color translation issues between
the two programs????
