cut and paste problems

Hi,

I have Word 2007. Suddenly I am having problems cutting and pasting. If I
type a paragraph and then click copy, then click paste nothing happens.

Please can someone help

type a paragraph and then click copy, then click paste nothing happens.

If you're typing, then there is no selection; the cursor is blinking in the
document. So when you copy, there's nothing selected so there's nothing that
can be copied... And therefore nothing that can be pasted. You must first
select something.
