Hi Betty,

Are you talking about program or document disks?
If it's a CDR containing Word documents you may
need to copy them to your hard drive first as
Word needs to be able to create temporary files
where the open file exists.

Hi Bob,
I'm trying to copy Word documents and pics. It won't let me copy to my hard
drive. Only the CD-R discs - info I had on a previous computer. All RW-CD's
have let me copy no worries.

Hi Wally,
I don't know. I guess not if I can't open them. These same discs will open
on another computer, but not this one. Both have the exact same programs,
except my new one has Sonic Record now and I have heard this could cause
problems. have you heard this or similar??
