Daily "to do" report

I've used it in the past but haven't had access to it for quite a few years
now so I'm not sure if Project can do this for me.
Each job coming in is a custom job and needs it's own separate file. Each
job has common steps in the process. I always have multiple projects (20 to
50) open, all running at different phases simultaneously. Can Project provide
me with a report that will show what todays key events are for these multiple
projects saved in different files? Almost like producing a daily production
or event schedule, for lack of a better description.

Hi Doschmo,

Yes, Project can do that.
You can insert the multiple "project" files into a master file, also
connecting them to a resource pool, then filter or sort the information to
get what you want.

For starters, look for "Resource Sharing" in the help and or for "Insert
Poject"

Hi Doschmo,

Also, you might like to have a look at my series on Microsoft Project in the

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the articles before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
