Damaged figures

V

Vale

I see this problem in Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002. If I
insert figure (like black/white graphical line art) in TIFF
format by Insert\Picture\From File resut depends from image
resolution: usually it is OK for 72 dpi, sometimes it is
good for 300 dpi and very seldom it works well for >600
dpi. Damaged figure have some upper part more or less
correct, but below it all lines became vertical and rest of
the figure is corrupted completely and disappeared.
Sometimes problem can be fixed by decreasing of the image
size by mouse, but only sometimes.

Could somebody help, please?

The bigger the dpi the bigger the file size. Maybe your
computer just can't handle the large files in word. Try
using a picture editing software to resample the largest
pictures to a slightly
Joansmaller dpi.
