dash "-" changes to –, how do I get rid of –

option not wanted dash keeps making lines jump around, distraction..
how do I turn off please? thanks

This can be resolved by deselecting the correponding check box on the
AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect Options.
