Database question?

New to FrontPage
Have managed to set up .asp page and fpdb that collects all info I
need.Have managed to insert the results into a new .asp page
but now I need some help,please.

Question 1.
I would like to have a page that has two functions
must return the results and then allow me to update and change some fields
(that are only visible to me on protected pages)
updating the original file in the database.

Question 2.
How does one link queries to a drop down list and is it at all possible?

Question.
Can one have a result report with a column that has a hyperlink that when
activated sets a popup page with further selection/information
that is either from the results or will update the results.

Last question
How does one fill a drop down box with options gathered from a field in a
database and have it automatically updated when the database
is updated.

For question 1:
If you are using FP2002/2003 then look at the Database Interface Wizard
Accessed from (FP2003):
File->New... New Web Site - More Web Site Templates.
Can be placed in new subweb or in existing web.
