I have some data in Excel that I want to chart by date. No problem.
The dates in Excel are formatted as month/day (ie "7/11"). When I copy and
past into the ppt datasheet, it converts it to "11-Jul", so I have to click
on the cell (or top row) and reformat it to "m/d" and it's fine. However,
when I go back to edit it later, the format switches back to "dd-mmm"
automatically.
I want to automate this by pasting the Excel data in as a link so all I have
to do is update the spreadsheet daily and the ppt charts will show the
updated data. I have about 16 different charts.
How can I make the date format stay the way I want it?
Thanks,
Jim
