Date Format Not being Retained between Files

In some plans that I create, I need to show just a date view (mm/dd/yy) and
in ohter plans that I create, I also need for the time of day to show. When
I change the format in one plan to the date format I want, it carries over to
all plans that I have created - how do I assign (and keep) different date
formats to different plans?

When you click Tools - Options - View and specify a value in the Date Format
field, this setting is for the application and impacts ALL projects you open
from that point forward. If you want to specify a date format for specific
projects, you can do so as follows:

1. Open a project.
2. Apply the View in which you want to apply the date format.
3. Click View - Table - More Tables.
4. Click the Edit button to edit the Table shown in the current View.
5. Click the Date Format pick list (at the bottom of the dialog) and select
the date format you want.
6. Click the OK button and then click the Apply button.
7. Repeat steps #3-6 for each View/Table in which you want to apply the
unique date format.
8. Save and close the project.

Repeat these steps for every project that needs to show its own unique date
format. I realize this might be a lot of work, however. Hope this helps.

Works perfectly! You have no idea how much I was banging my head against the
wall. Thanks so much!
