De-Activate Office 2003?

I have a rather unique situation. I recieved a copy of Office 2003 Pro and
OneNote by mail when I attended the launch event in October. Since then, I
have acquired the full retail copy of both products. I would like to de-
active the first copy I installed and transfer the license to my brother if
possible.

Does anyone know if there is a phone number I can call to de-activate the
original installation so I can transfer the license?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Why not just give him the newly acquired product for the price for which you
purchased it?

Hi Milly,

The reason for wanting to send him the original copy is that the packaging
for the original copy is easier to send through the mail. It's a small
folder with the two CDs included. Unfortunately, I can't just transfer the
new media to the old packaging, because the product keys for the media are
included on the packaging (stickers).

The new copy comes in two "DVD type" cases, again with the product key
stickers, which is somewhat more bulky to ship. I will give him the new
copy if I can't transfer license of the original copy to him, but I was
hoping there was a way to deactivate the installation to make shipping
cheaper.

Just trying to save a buck or two on shipping. :~)-
