Dead Word

[Yidaho]

My Word has died in that it will not respond when run. Tried uninstalling
and reinstall but no look.
How do you uninstall word/office so that all the garbage goes with it. It
obvious that some heap of junk is left behind when office "uninstalls" that
corrupts word when reinstalls.
Wouldn't it be nice if uninstall did just that.

Is there a reason why you think if you do a proper uninstall it won't be
gone?
