Decimal Digits Limit

I'm trying to set "decimal digits" to 3, but Pro 2003 only allows three
options: 0, 1 or 2 (menu "tools/option/view"). Is there a way to work with 3
decimal digits for work and cost values?

Alessandra,
Project stores all time related data in minutes and the Work field can
be set up to show minutes (Tools/Options/Schedule tab). However when
expressed as hours, the value will be rounded to 2 decimal places.
Likewise with the Cost field, displayed values are limited to 2 decimal
places. However, by using a couple of custom fields, the work and cost
values can be displayed to greater precision.

Thank you, John,

That's what I guessed.
However, I'd like to display work and cost values with 3 decimal places at
the detailed table of task usage and resource usage views.
In these cases I can't use custom fields, correct?

Alessandra,
When you say the "detailed table" I assume you mean the timescaled data
on the right side of either Usage view. And you are correct, spare or
custom fields are not timescaled by Project. The data in them CAN be
timescaled but it requires an algorithm and VBA and the data would need
to be exported to Excel.
