Default Column Width

I have a file (an .mpp file and all of its successors) where the Predecessor
and Successor columns are always set to a width of 128 when the file opens,
and I need to resest them to something that allows me to see other columns.
I have tried several methods of setting and saving the width of these two
columns, but haven't found the correct combination yet. Other files are not
effected. Suggestions?

Apply the View in which you see the wide column. Click View - Table - More
Tables and then click the Edit button to edit the Table curently displayed.
Change the column widths as needed. Hope this helps.
