Default general working hours

Why is it that I have to define the project's general working hours for every
new project I setup is there no way of adjusting these as permanent default
values?

Hi,

Once you have your own "default" calendar in a file:
Tools
Organiser
Calendars
Select "Standard" in the file's window
Copy to Global.mpt

Any new file will now have this as the standard calendar.
