Default Options for new mail messages

Hi
I'm trying to update the default view for new messages, but only for new messages and not for the inbox. Can you tell me where to update this

My computer was reformatted and I'm unable to view the subject line, as well as other lines such as CC

Can you help?

I'm not sure I understand - the view is folder based, not item based. If you
mean using automatic formatting, it's an automatic formatting rule added to
a view (see tools, organize). If you mean on the message form when you
compose message, look at the view menu - show headers.
