Default Tracking Gantt

Hi,
I'm in the middle of tracking my project and have managed to change the view
of my tracking gantt. I'm aware there are other baseline views available,
however I've grown accostumed to the default - which I can't get back!
The default has the baseline bar below the actual, whereas the others do not.
Would prefer not to go into customising the individual bars (i.e. rt
click/bar styles etc..) if I can avoid it.
Cheers,
MJ
PS Am using MSP2K.

Hi,

Tools, Organizer, Views, copy Tracking Gantt from Global.mpt to your
project.

Hi,
To restore your tracking view back try out these steps.
Tools- Organizer- Views.
Select Tracking gantt view from the global.mpt
click on copy
It will give a dialog box in which it will ask to replace the view click on
yes.
Now if you see your Tracking Gantt view it will be similar to the original one
Hope this helps

Thanks and Regards

Ahh.., this question.

Whenever you change one of the built-in Views, Tables, Filters, Groups
or
Reports you lose the original and yet you may need it.
So, whenever I change one of the built-ins to any extent I make that
into a
new custom version. Go to Views, More Views, copy the View you are in,
give
it a new name eg "AAA Tracking Gantt", then use the Organiser to
recover the
original from the Global Template.
Try to avoid mushing up the originals in the first place.
Try to think ahead and make the custom ones straight away.
Periodically recover originals from the Global Template, just to make
sure
you still have them as built-in.
