Project 2003 Baseline

I have a project which started as a copy of an other project. I set the base
line and am now updating actuals on the tracking gantt. On this schedule
only, it has never happened before, when I update actual information the
baseline bar chart and dates also change so I can't compare actual to
baseline. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

Go to the format menu, barstyles and look at the fields which are being used
for the baseline. Perhaps somehow they have been set to something other than
baseline. You should have them set to baseline start and baseline finish.
Also insert the baseline start and baseline finish columns in the table and
see if they are changing. Unless something is seriously wrong, you should not
see them change without setting a new baseline.

Hello Jack,

I am having a similar problem. I have updated the actual start dates and
actual work on the gantt chart and task usage. After this, the whole schedule
"moves" along with the actual work or gantt. Where do I find the original
plan?

Please advise on my settings!

Before entering any actual you would have to set the Baseline of your projet
:
Tools / Tracking / Save Baseline...

I have done that! So, how do I see these 2 gantts together or separately?
