Del. or Move MSProject Columns...

Hi,

shows how you can insert a column.

But what if I want to DELETE one; how can I do it?

Also, what if I want to move a column from one location to another -
how can I UNLOCK it to move as when I drag, all it does is adjust the
column width & doesn't let me actually move the column to another
location!

You can't really "delete" a column since it's underlying data is
connected to Project's database. Right mouse click on the column you
wish to hide, and select "hide". To "move" a column, simply right mouse
click the column to the left of where you wish to insert, and pick
"insert column" and pick it.

This discussed in Project's Help if you look in the Index for the
keywords "insert;column".

To delete, highlight col head and hit delete.
To move, just delete and insert in the place where you want.
