Delay I did not put in

I used to know what caused this. I have a task that has delay indicated by
......... in the Gantt. It is at the very start of the task and is not a
result of levelling. I did not indicate any delay and can't figure out how to
fix it. I did this once and now forgot what I did.

Hello, Goede Dag,

Go to Task Usage View
Find the assignment line (the italic line with the resource nalme) and
double-click
In assignment start put the same as task start.

Unless the resource is on holiday and the task has a must start on
constraint, that does it.

Thanks. I noticed a Contour of Contour and changed it to Flat. Are there any
other things that can cause this? I know the fix was easy before. Thanks again

Hi,

There may be constraints that conflict with nonworking time.
But howsoever, teh start date of the assignment must be different from the
start of the task (that is reflected by the leading split). Did you try
changing the start date of the assignment?
