Deleting auto-populated names in the To/From/cc fields...

hello!

Outlook 2003 automatically populates and keeps e-mail addresses i've sent to
in the To/From/cc fiels. So, if i start typying "c" it will list all e-mails
I've sent to someone whose e-mail begins with "c".

I'd like to clean out various such entries from this
"auto-population"/drop-down list but cannot figure out how to do it.

Can anyone help?

ps---there are various wrong/dead/incorrect/unnecessary names in these lists
for me...that's why I want to do this.

Thanks!!

You can highlight the 'bad' names/addresses and hit Delete on them when they
show up in the dropdown. Alternately you can delete your NK2 file to remove
all of them

Uh-oh...NEW problem...

Hi Vince...last night I went in and "cleaned things up"...

Unfortunately, this morning, after re-booting, they were all there again...

How can I permanently delete these entries without deleting the whole list
file?

Thanks!
