Deleting autofill email address entries

HOw do you delete an email address that autofills when you begin typing the
address in? I have a new email address for someone that I email regularly;
the beginning of the address stayed the same. After I've entered the new
address one time and emailed the person, when I email them again, the
autofill feature after typing the first couple letters of the name gives two
options--one with the old email address and one with the new. How do you
delete the old one out? (Note that I have never entered this address in my
address book.)

Posted thousands of times. Select the entry you don't want by using the
arrow keys and press Delete.

That's because the autocompletion feature isn't connected with your Contacts
in any way.
