Deleting blank rows

I have blank rows with no tasks. I have tried to rt-clk on these rows &
select "delete tasks" & also Page Setup --> View --> Uncheck "print blank
pages". Yet, when I print preview my tasks & Gantt chart, every other page
is blank? I realize I can select to print every other page, but it's rather
annoying. Thanks in advance.

Tina,
You didn't mention if those blank sheets are in width or length. That
is, do the blank sheets occur between task rows or as columns/Gantt
display?

You deleted the blank lines that you saw but maybe that's not all there
are. Try this. Sort the file by Unique ID. Then go to the bottom and see
if there are more blank lines. If so, delete those and try print preview
again. If that doesn't help, does you file have external links, (i.e.
external predecessors/successors), with other files? Maybe those aren't
being displayed but are showing up when printing.

The blank sheets are in length. Pages 1, 3 & 5 have info; 2, 4, & 6 are
blank. The blank rows are all at the bottom -- they're completely blank, not
even an ID. Also, there's no external links. This is my 1st time using
Project, so I'm doing something really basic (I thought so anyway!)

Tina,
OK, try this. Open a new blank project and go to Insert/Project. Select
the file you want and uncheck the box near the bottom right corner that
says "link to project". Then hit "Insert". You will be creating a static
master. Expand the file to show all tasks and do a print preview of the
new file. Does the problem still occur? If it does NOT, then select all
tasks below the top summary line and outdent them. This will make the
top summary line a normal (i.e. non-summary) task. Delete the top level
task. Use Save As to save the resulting file back to your original name
and you are all set.

If the above does NOT work, could you e-mail me the file. I'm sure it is
something pretty simple but at the moment I don't have any quick ideas.
If someone else does then great, please chime in.
