DELETING DOCUMENTS FROM DESKTOP

I have various document types that I have personally saved to my desktop. I
wish to delete these files. I've tried deleting them and even cutting and
pasting to the recycle bin. But, after loging on to the computer the files
reappear on the desktop as if I never deleted them. They are not programs
and they are not shortcuts. - Just simple word docs I've saved to the
desktop. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

You work in a corporate network with roaming profiles perhaps? If so
contact the network admin.

Thank you for your response. Yes sir, you are correct, this is regarding a
corp. network w/ roaming profiles. I contacted the administrators and they
have no clue what whould prevent me from deleting documents from the desktop.

And I suppose they can't be bothered to look into it, either?

A search of the MSKB for Roam Profile Delete turned this up. Perhaps it's
relevant.

Actually, here's the whole list of results, just in case.

I see Echo S has provided the appropriate articles to allow your system
administrator to correct the settings.

Hope I didn't step on your toes, Bob. I just had a few minutes available to
look them up.

Nope, steel toe boots. <VBG> OP getting correct assistance is the name
of the game, so good job.

Bob, Echo,
Well, you're right again, they wouln't bother to look it up either. I'll
review the help and support articels with them and solve the issue. I'll let
them know about MS Help and Support Articles too - maybe they'll be able to
help their customers more.

As for you guys - you're great. Thanks again for all the info.
