When I wish to do a Disk Cleanup, one of the files offered for clean up is
473,285 KB of Office Set Up Files. Can they be deleted?

Those files are the MSOCache folder which allow you to install updates for
Office 2003 without the CD. See:

MSOcache

Local Installed Resources:

If you delete this folder, you will need your installation CD when you
install updates. If you need the hard drive space, best to add drive space.
Microsoft provides {see above} a utility to move the MSOCache folder to a
different drive.

You can delete them if you want.
