Deleting tabs

Word has put a tab stop on -58 cm (don´t know how...). When I try to delete
the the tab stop, it is not possible and I get the message "The tab stop is
too large". How do I delete the tab stop?

How do you try to delete it? In which version of Word? And is this tab stop
part of the style definition applied to the paragraph?
