Deleting tasks with actuals entered

Some of my users (Project Managers) are new to Project 2003 and we have a
fear of losing actual hours entered against a task which might get deleted by
the project manager. Is there anyways we can stop them from deleting a task
with actual hours entered?

I haven't seen a way of disabling the delete button, you do get an message
asking for confirmation of the deletion as there are actual values, so
someone has to actually want to delete the task.
Question is why are the project managers deleting tasks, or is it just a
training issue?

If all you they need to do is review the schedule, save the project with a
password. They will only have read access.
File/ save As/ Tool/ General Options...
