Deleting Tasks

A new user, I have entered a number of tasks and in error grouped some to a
task that I now want to delete. However when I delete that task, the
sub-tasks that I still want are deleted. How do I delete the main task and
keep the sub-tasks.

Select the subtasks. Click on the left arrow icon. This will promote them to
the same level as the summary task. Delete the summary task.
