Deleting Word Doc list

Using OfficeXP Word - how do you delete the list of documents
at bottom of "File" menu. Have deleted these docs after backing up.
Tx for any info.

You can set the Recent Files list setting in Tools=>Options=>General to zero, then go back and set to a higher number if you want to
use that feature as one method, or you can use Ctrl+Alt+Hyphen to get the deletion cursor and click on the entries. Be careful
with that one as it can delete menu entries you weren't intending to delete :)
