Deliverables

Is it possible to enter to the project 2007 a deliverable with a specific and
permanent date?
I do not care if the deliverable will be ready before the specific date.
I am only interested to see if it is late, Moreover, I do not want the date
to change via sync
Is it possible and how can I do it?

Hi,

A deliverable?
If you mean a milestone, yes, doubel-click on it, Advanced tab, select "Must
Start on" as constraint type, select the right date.
Project will never change that any more.

It is a new feature at project server 2007

The reason for my questioning is that this newsgroup is meant for the
desktop version of Microsoft Project.
The Server gurus reside in
microsoft.public.project.server
