Dell 1855 blade chassis

I have a Dell 1855 dell chassis shape for Visio 2007, I want to use a
Excel data source and be able to fill in data for all 10 systems in the
chassis utilizing data graphics. is this possible? I see how it is done
for one item with mutiple properties. but I want to show multiple
properties for each of the 10 items(blades) in the chassis.

the usual issue that people run into is whether the blade shapes have the
custom properties assigned to them that you want to mirror with either
datagraphics or the equally strong linked data records. so the first
question is do the blades have the custom properties that you need or will
you have to open an stencil and modify the shape? once you have the custom
properties assigned (and appropriate data graphics) you can use your new
shape wherever.
