Dependencies

I am working on MSP 2002, and cannot get the dependency to work for two task.
I have linked one task to another but the dates will not change. I checked
for rollup task linkage.

What should I be doing?

Check your constraints one of the tasks may be set "start no earlier/later".
Ensure the following task is set ASAP. This is probably the problem.

When you say the dependency doesn't work, just what do you mean? "Doesn't
work" is not enough information to diagnose the problem. What precisely are
you seeing versus what are you expecting to see?

I set the task constraints to start as soon as possible, but the dates will
not change based on the inserted dependencies.

Is in tools, Options, Calculation, Calculation set to automatic?

If yes, have you ever had a message about circular relationships?

Are you sure the task/s haven't started. They won't move if % complete is > 0
