Disabling revision marking

I made a template (.dot) with a protected area and i looks fine -"TRK" is
greyed.

When i use the template as basis for a new document revisions are marked -
"TRK on".

I can't turn it off (unless i unprotect the document) ?????

I looked for checkboxs etc in the setting dialogs but did not find any.....
