Disappearing Folders

We have a spam filter that delivers spam to a folder
called "SPAM" using the rules wizard. There have been
many users that remark that their "SPAM" folder has just
disappeared. No notice to delete the folder, nothing in
the deleted items.

Any ideas as to why?
