Disappearing Tasks.

How do I make tasks disappear on their own once I've marked them complete? I
know that I can just click the delete button but I was told that there is a
setting that will cause them to delete themselves. Is that true?

You need to change your view filters so that the view
does not display tasks that are complete. You need to go
to "Customize Current View..." and then
choose "Filters". On the Advanced Tab, choose "All Task
Fields" and look for "Complete". Once you set this
to "Complete = No" and click "Add To List", the tasks
will disappear once they are marked complete.

Hope this helps!

But this is hiding the task, not deleting it?

Correct. There is no mechanism to delete the task on
completion. However, you could setup autoarchive to
autoarchive tasks daily, which you can setup to delete
items instead of archiving them.

I *think* autoarchive only archives completed tasks.

Great info and it did work. I will set up the autoarchive to delete.

Thanks again!
