DISCUSSION GROUP COMMUNICATIONS

John Boy

This is not a specific MS Project question but would like some help. I am a
very occasional user of these forums via my .net account and have in the past
managed to view all of my past communications both questions and answers. I
have forgotten how to do this – help!

Hi JohnBoy,

If you are using the web interface, enter your screen name "John Boy"
(with quotes) in the Search for box at the top of the screen and click
the Go button. I see 3 postings by you in this newsgroup.

You may also try a google groups advanced search if you post to more
than one newsgroup. Search for your posting name (JohnBoy at
discussions dot microsoft dot com. A quick search looking at all
microsoft newsgroups turned up 46 posts.

Julie, thanks for this and fully understand the methodology - it did come up
with my questions in discussion groups. Unfortunately the issue I had
resolved (concerning a page numbering bug in word) was not in this list -
issue was quite some time ago and it may have been resolved by direct contact
with MS. I have a recollection that I could see my MS related issues via my
..net passport in what looked like a private webspace?

Not a very big issue and thanks.

Hi JohnBoy,

You're welcome and thanks for the feedback. To your comment about
seeing MS related issues via the .net passport -- I rarely spend any
time at all in the web interface -- but is it possible you are thinking
of the "My feedback" link that you may see if you used on of the Connect
sites? See http://connect.microsoft.com/ sign in with you passport
credentials and see if that is what you recall.
