I was trying to save a .pub file to a floppy. Okay floppy
only holds 1.4 MB and the .pub file is 11.3 MB according
to the Properties under the File. But why don't I get
option place more floppies into drive? Is this typical?
Must I use CD?

Thanks for information.

Windows cannot natively span a file across multiple floppy disks.

a) NEVER save directly to a floppy disk, especially from Publisher.
b) Use a program such as WinZIP or WinRAR (www.winzip.com, www.rarlab.com)
to compress the file to a smaller size, and span it across multiple disks.
I recomment WinRAR - you get a better compression ratio, and you can create
the spanned archive on the hard drive and copy the files to floppies,
meaning that if a disk gets corrupted, you only have to replace one rather
than the entire set. WinZIP has the advantage that virtually everyone has
software to open its files.

Go to File > Pack and Go > Take to another computer. This will span your
publication across multiple floppies within Publisher. (Must be running
Publisher 2000 or newer). --
