Dissapearing Image

I have a "Micrcosoft Office Document Imaging File" picture in one of my
Publisher files that will not appear on the screen or print. I can see the
image when I do print preview, but whe I tell it to print, it will not print.
I can also pull the image into Word and Excel and it is there, but you can't
see or print it. I pulled it into Print Artist then copied it into Publisher
and I could see it, but it looked terrible and wouldn't print properly. I
have used this file for about six months with no problem, then all of the
sudden I can't see the image. This seems so strange to me. Can someone help
me, please?

Open the image in an editing program and re-save as something other than .tiff.

To work around this issue, use the Microsoft Office Document Imaging tool to set
the image color compression for images to lossless compression (LZW). To do
this, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft
Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Office Document Imaging.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. In the Options dialog box, click the Compression tab.
4. Under TIFF color compression, click to select the Perform lossless
compression (LZW). Results in larger files but allows improved sharing with
other TIFF viewers check box, and then click OK.
5. On the File menu, click Exit to quit the Microsoft Office Document Imaging
tool.

Thank you very much. I don't have a Compression tab, so I couldn't do the
lossless compression. But I saved it as a bitmap and it reads it just fine.

Do you know why this would happen all of the suden? I guess I just can't
read tiff files anymore?

Thanks again, you've been a great help!

I have used this image for months, then it just dissapeared from my business
card.

Thank you for the information, I will do some reading on the website you
suggested.
