Dock custom window to Word frame

Does anyone know how to dock a custom window created within an addin to
Word's frame - like it was a Word toolbar?

Thanks,
John

Why not make it a Word toolbar - a custom one?

How is this accomplished? The Word object model allows for toolbars -
but you seem to only be able to ask it to create buttons and comboboxes...

With a bit of imagination and flexibility in your approach, it may be
possible to use a toolbar... but we do not know what you want to do, so...
difficult to offer any ideas...

Ok - I'm trying to create a custom window/toolbar in Word that can be
docked on either the left or the right - eseentially a custom task pane.
It will be created from within a Word addin. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
John

This much we had already figured out.

What I meant is:
What do you want that task pane to do? How will it be used by/useful to
the user?
